Back to the grind, reporting at KOMU-TV (NBC; Columbia, Mo.). Here's my latest work, online and here on YouTube, about a proposal to turn U.S. Highway 54 — one of four really major routes through our viewing area — into an interstate highway:
I've been trying to do a better job of updating my YouTube channel and posting my videos to Facebook. Keep looking for more of my stuff there — it's been an interesting session of reporting thus far!
I try to embody the best of both worlds: the new world of multimedia journalism, and the old world of traditional media — from traditional forms of television and radio storytelling, to Twitter, Facebook, Dreamweaver, and Soundslides. I'm from Minneapolis, Minn., and am a reporter and anchor at KOMU-TV (NBC) and KBIA-FM (NPR) in Columbia, Mo. I spent last summer as a reporter intern at KTTC-TV (NBC) in Rochester, Minn.
When I'm not reporting the news, I'm probably consuming it in some way... or waving a Homer Hanky, watching a good movie, whiffing on the golf course, or figuring out how to cook. Check out my YouTube page!
